Light and Neutral Baby Boy Nursery - Chico Newborn Photographer

This Chico in home lifestyle newborn session is one of my favorites to date. Patrick and Annie’s home is beautiful and has a light and airy feel right when you walk in. The last time I had seen these two was at their Upper Bidwell Park maternity session and I had been looking forward to seeing them again this time with their baby in their arms.

When I arrived, Annie greeted me at the door while Patrick was finishing changing their sweet boy Jackson. I always tell my families don’t feel the pressure that you have to be completely ready the minute I arrive. I always like to take a few minutes to set up my equipment and look for great natural light location in their home before getting started. This allows mom to finish up getting ready and if there are any older siblings I can get to know them a bit before taking their family photos.

We started their newborn session in the master bedroom then to the family room and finished in little Jackson’s nursery. I love the way Annie thought through the design pieces in her home and that certainly carried into Jackson’s neutral nursery.

You will see in the images but Jax’s is the cutest boy and even smiled at me a few times throughout his session.

I am so excited for Annie and Patrick. They are doing an amazing job. Their care and love for their baby boy was beautiful to capture. What a sweet season to walk with these two from their maternity photos to newborn session.
