I’m so excited to share with you the Rivero maternity photography session we did in Chico. Krista and Claudio are amazing people and we loved getting to know them more during our evening together.

Storytime:

I first met Krista several months ago when I was pregnant with Kaizen. Krista is one of several amazing midwives here in Chico. Under their care, you get to know each midwife throughout your pregnancy. Krista was the one who checked in on us during our stay at the hospital right after Kaizen was born. We had been emailing back and forth right before I gave birth to Kaizen and didn’t realize it was the same person until we made the connection that day. When she came to check on us, we had a little chuckle and small world moment that as she made sure our postpartum caring was moving along smoothly.

We felt so much encouragement and connection going with the midwives which is why this session was such a big honor for me! It’s all the more reason I’m excited for these two to welcome their sweet baby girl in just a few short months. Being a parent is the greatest honor and I can’t wait for them to experience more than they could ever hope or imagine!

Claudio and Krista live down the street from Blue Oak Park in California Park. They go on long walks with their two pups around the trail and around lake. Pretty soon they will be waking with their baby in the same spots we took their maternity photos!
