Chico Lifestyle Farmhouse Family Photo Session

I am so excited to share with you this beautiful family film photography session done at the Chandler Farmhouse here in Chico. The Chandler Farmhouse is a beautiful historic home in the orchards of Chico. This home has been kept up so well and the owners currently rent it out often on VRPO and for special events. It’s the perfect location for any photo session and I was so excited when Andrea the owner reached out to me for a collaboration. The home has beautiful natural light and so much charm and character everywhere you look. I first found out about the home from one of our TréCreative brides Elizabeth. It was the getting ready location and where we took the majority of their wedding day portraits. You can get a even more in depth look at the property from their photos :)

Rachel and her beautiful family met me at the Chico Farmhouse and we captured their family in the upstairs master suite which has beautiful views of the orchards and amazing natural light with big windows.

My approach to photography is to always make my families feel comfortable and at ease. I want to capture the raw and tender moments a family has for one another. This might look like a cuddle on the couch together or silly faces between a baby and their parents. Whatever that is, I want my images to bring my families back to those precious moments to the feelings in the photo.
